EA made a bunch of announcements this year, most of which were expected. It did have its share of surprises though.
- Titanfall 2
The awesome multiplayer wallrunning FPS is going to be back soon, in a sequel which promises more explosive action than before, with more abilities. The multiplayer gameplay trailer was mind-blowing. The game is set to release on October 28, 2016 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

- Madden NFL 17
Started off with the reveal trailer, followed by some sweeping changes made by EA for the burgeoning e-sports community. The competitions are going to be divided into Challenger, Premier and EA Major events.
- Mass Effect : Andromeda
ME will be running on the Frostbite Engine. A behind-the-scenes trailer for the game was displayed.
- FIFA 17
The upcoming FIFA installment will run on Frostbite. Reveal of a new mode called “The Journey”, where you get to experience the life of an upcoming player. And Premier League managers are going to be in the game for the first time ever!
Awesome part : When ManU’s José Mourinho showed up suddenly, next to Peter Moore.
- EA Originals
Patrick Soderlund, EVP of EA Studios, announces EA Originals, an initiative taken by EA where they fund indie developers making a truly ground-breaking game.
This indie game will be a third-person adventure, where there are no dialogues whatsoever, and everything will be conveyed through music between the different creatures inhabiting the game world.
- Star Wars
Battlefront, The Old Republic and Galaxy of Heroes will be getting new content throughout the year. Also, seems like every sub-division of EA will be making new content for the Star Wars games.
- Battlefield 1
Patrick Bach, GM of DICE, talks of the various sweeping changes from the previous iterations of the beloved franchise.
- The game features a maximum of 32 vs 32 team deathmatches, so 64 max. players in a game.
- BF1 will have an all-natural weather system, where you cannot predict how the weather conditions may change, making each battle a new, unique experience.
Just to really show us all they weren’t kidding about the multiplayer, they had a 32 vs 32 player game with YouTubers vs Celebrities best of three match, after the end of the press conference.
Battlefield 1 will be releasing on October 21, 2016 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
